I am pregnant with a girl and we have some names picked out

I have a son Chase Alexander whos 2.



The names are:



Kara (lynn)

Shanna (Grace)

Alyssa (Lynn)

Jaime (lynn)

I like Cara

I don't like Shanna.

Alyssa is nice.

I don't like Jamie.

Kara Lynn: Kara is a great name, it's girly without being overly-done or flowery. It'll be wonderful when she's older too. I'd pronounce it CARE-ah, not CAR-uh, though... not sure which pronunciation you were thinking of.



Shanna Grace: Shan-uh or Shane-uh? I like Shane-uh :)



Alyssa Lynn: I love the name Alyssa - it's beautiful and graceful. It looks nice written and sounds nice when you say it. Plus, she'll never have to explain her name.



Jamie Lynn: I'd prefer Jamie Grace, just because Jamie Lynn reminds me of Jamie Lynn Spears - not that she's a bad person to be named after, i just wouldn't want to think of a celeb all the time. What Do You Think Of These Baby Girl Names?
Kara Lynn sounds like Karolyn. Karolyn is nice as a first name.

Shanna Grace isn't bad.

Alyssa Lynn is pretty..but Alyssa Grace flows nicer.

Jaime Lynn sounds too much like Jamie-Lynn Spears. Jamie's a cute name though.

Alyssa- becomming over used lately (lol seriously i know 3 people with babys named that)

Jaime- do not like it



Out of your list I would go with Kara



Names that I like are Piper, Raine, Lila, and Savannah.

I like unique names so its hard to rate other peoples names that I dont have the same tastes with.

Kara Lynn - 6/10. It's cute but its really similar to the name Carolyn - I love the name Kara though.



Shanna Grace - 7/10. Cute but I'm not too keen on the first name. I think that Shauna Grace is pretty or Shanna Lyn is quite cute too.



Alyssa Lynn - 2/10. I love both names but it's horrible when you put them together. My tongue gets all tied. How about Alyssa Grace?



Jaime Lynn - 8/10. Do you mean Jamie Lynn? If so it's quite cute but you'd be naming your daughter after Jamie Lynn Spears. However, despite that, it's kind of my favourite on the list.

I actually love all four first names. Kara and Jaime are probably my favorites though. I think Kara Alyssa and Jaime Shanna Grace sound beautiful! And they both go well with Chase.

I like Kara best because it's not a name we hear all the time. Would you pronounce it "CAR-uh" or "CARE-uh" ? I like "CARE-uh" better.

Kara Lynn doesnt have a nice flow to it. Kara Grace sounds nice though :)
